Fun, educational, multi-sensory music and movement sessions for babies and toddlers

Caterpillar Music is absolutely wonderful! The mix of songs, lights, bubbles and fun brings such joy to my little one. She loves to dance along to the music and is learning more and more actions as the term goes on. Anna is so lovely, always involving everyone and her enthusiasm is infectious. A really safe space for little ones to enjoy themselves and be themselves.

I took my 6 month old baby to his first Caterpillar Music class today and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. The class was structured with a theme and extremely well organised. Raquel was very friendly and engaged with each and every child throughout the session making sure no baby or toddler was left out. All the children were well engaged due to her enthusiasm with each song using a range of different props (eg. puppets, scarfs, flying in a circle/bubbles/instruments etc) There wasn't a moment that went past where my baby wasn't smiling or laughing or dancing ! All the instruments and toys were clean and I also enjoyed how after each song she had a quick tidy up before getting the new things out (this really helped the children remain focused and also so it was cluttered) All the children received stickers and a pot for bubbles at the end too (it was a special week as the group also fundraises for children's charities too!) I'm so impressed with the class I can't wait to go again next week... I think I had just as much fun as my baby ! If you're looking for a well organised, structured, educational group for your child look no further!

"We have been coming to Caterpillar Music Classes run by Raquel since my eldest was 6 months old (he’s 8 years now).
Since then we have added 3 more children to our family, there may have been a couple of times (due to the birth of my children) where we missed a single class, even during lockdown, Raquel sent us the home video sessions, so we didn’t feel missed out

Although I know (have known) Raquel for over 7 years, Every week without fail, we are greeted with the same bubbly, friendly, welcoming and passionate woman i’ve ever known.
She isn’t just a class leader, she goes the extra mile, and she does her upmost best to make everyone feel the same as i did all those years ago walking into a room full of strangers.
As the weeks go on, and session topics change, new friends are made (young & old-er), and old friendships re-kindled, this isn’t just a group to socialise your little ones, nor is it a ‘ssshhhh’ event either.
I think we can all agree that covid/lockdowns have left some of us mentally drained, some with mental health issues that have surfaced for the first time, or brought up from a box we put them away in, Raquel makes sure that everyone feels involved with the class and the music, especially the interactions.

It will be a sad day when we won’t be at classes anymore (my toddler is my last baby).
I’ll always promote Raquel to anyone that asks about local groups etc..
Honestly Raquel, thankyou for everything you have done for me and my family, you have not only introduced my children to music and other humans, but you have restored my faith that there are good people in the world…you being one!

I started coming to Raquel's class with Harry who is 2 years old in February 2022 while I was on maternity leave and was looking for something to help Harry have more confidence around other children and also have some space for him before his sister arrived.

This class has been fantastic for him, he now runs around the class and plays with the other children but also has the confidence to do his own thing.

It’s been fantastic for him and Raquel is great with all the children, she takes her time to interact with each one and remembers all their names. It’s been great attending each week. Unfortunately my maternity leave is nearly over, we will miss this weekly class but will try and make one now and again when we can.

Anna’s classes are amazing! I took my eldest and he loved them, so knew as soon as I had my second little boy I had to take him too. He’s being going for nearly a year now & he loves Anna’s classes just as much as my first did. She has so much enthusiasm and puts so much effort into every class she teaches.
She’s brilliant with the children, wouldn’t go anywhere else now!

Anna is amazing and has been such a support over the time we have enjoyed her sessions! We have booked Anna to come and do a party for my little girls 2nd birthday. We can't wait!

We love our toddler class each week, we look forward to attending! Raquel is amazing with the kids, always making sure each child is interacted with and really caring towards them. Highly recommended .
