Why come to class in the summer months?

During the summer months we sometimes hear how you won’t book your usual Caterpillar Music term as you’re planning to do more outside activities. We get it, the weather is nicer and you want to make the most of it or you might be going away on holiday. The reasons are understandable but here are some things you might like to consider…

CATCH UP CHANCE
Did you know if you attend the term block at Basingstoke and can’t attend a week then you can book in a ‘catch up class’?! So you can attend an alternative class within the same term.

ROUTINE
We know children thrive with a routine and carrying on with your usual class is a routine they love.

CONTINUED LEARNING
It’s certainly exciting to expand learning opportunities to the outside, but it’s also good for your child’s learning to continue with a class that has been aiding their development.

VARIETY OF FUN
There’s so much fun to be had in the sun – visiting parks, beaches, having picnics. It’s good to offer your child a variety of fun activities- indoor and outdoor.

Cool space / sunny WEATHER can be unreliable!
Enjoy a Caterpillar Music class in a lovely venue out of the sun’s glare. Or in the event of summer rain – know that your fun and learning is guaranteed regardless of the weather!!

Some venues have a PLAY PARK nearby – turn it into a day out!
Attend your class and then step outside to the local playground. Chineham Village Hall has a play park right outside the hall, and Brookvale is near a lovely green space in town.

PAYG ALTERNATIVE
If you’re unable to book the term, maybe consider PAYG option. These sessions are slightly more expensive than booking the term and they cannot be swopped in the event you can’t attend (that’s a special perk for our termly customers!)
