“The laughter is still echoing across the leafy Surrey countryside!”
“They left feeling that they truly belonged to one big, fun, friendly Caterpillar family”
In true Caterpillar Music style, our annual conference was full of the wow-factor and some lovely surprises. Our “Secret Caterpillar” was a huge hit (eat your heart out Santa!) together with the amazing Caterpillar cakes and of course Caterpillar Music party bags and bubbly to celebrate our 21st birthday!!
New Lesson Plan Launch
We are so proud of our brand new and shiny lesson plan and song folders that were presented to our franchisees. Produced in line with the newly updated Early Years Guidance and the culmination of months of collaborative Zoom calls, where ideas from our experienced franchisees across the UK were collated. This was a project coordinated and presented by Mez, our former Caterpillar Music Guildford Franchisee. Mez, also a paediatric physio, led a thought-provoking presentation and group discussions about baby-development, which has left us all with so many more amazing ideas for our tiny caterpillar classes, as well as our tailored nursery sessions – we simply cannot wait to implement all these fresh ideas.
It ‘s been 2 years!
After going into lockdown one week after our last conference in March 2020, our Caterpillar family have certainly grown closer. Without the geographical barriers, Zoom meant that during the pandemic, we had been able to laugh/cry together, support one another on our regular Zoom chats; we even managed 2 Christmas parties and a Zoom facial!! However, nothing beats coming together in person again. The energy and excitement in the room could be heard for miles around – particularly at the driving range – where we had a high-energy, team-building session. The laughter is still echoing across the leafy Surrey countryside!
Our Fantastic speakers
We were extremely lucky to have Christina Taylor-Chisholm and Jo Middleton from The Inspirational Speakers Agency give interactive talks on “How to make more sales in your franchise business” (Christina) and “Bossing It” (Jo), which have left us feeling energised, inspired and motivated to grow our businesses with strategy, a positive mindset and self-belief.
We are also grateful to The Drift Golf club, (for the incredible venue and delicious lunch), Pipsqueaks Play (for our amazing, branded peg dolls), Emma Sears from Reel Feel photography, who captured the whole event seamlessly.
Our newest franchisees were welcomed and invited to celebrate with us. They left feeling that they truly belonged to one big, fun, friendly Caterpillar family.
We are already looking forward to Caterpillar Music Conference 2023!
Helen Simmons, CEO and Franchisor.
